As the components for the optical head are not that intelligent, they cannot catch preset TOC in a single move. However, they can stay around the tracing point. And then the driving components will drive the head to move up or down or left or right, and at this point, the component will clicks inside. If there actually is a disc, its basic information, such as volume label, capacity, etc. will be read, else the whole drive will cancel any further moves and keeps waiting.
How many times can a blank CD-RW disc be used?
Though the quality of different blank CD-RW disc discs is different, most of them can be rewritten for about 1000 times. Most general users have little chance to use them up. If your blank CD-RW disc fails just after several rewritings, you are suggested to consult with the seller of this disc.
